Abstract
O artigo destaca a relação entre a biografia e a obra de três autores – Octavio Paz, Hannah Arendt e Norberto Bobbio. Aborda no caso de Octavio Paz sua inserção na realidade mexicana e na tradição poética moderna. O texto reconstitui a incorporação da obra de Paz no contexto brasileiro, com base na experiência do próprio autor.
