Abstract
Proposta de releitura de O labirinto da solidão (1950), de Octavio Paz, no contexto do novo milênio. Sobressaem três tópicos. No estudo da figura do “pachuco”, o pionerismo na análise da diáspora latino-americana. A relação entre o intelectual e o Estado, com ênfase no trágico episódio de Tlatelolco. A inclusão da mulher na compreensão das interpretações mexicanas e latino-americanas da nossa história.
