Abstract
A única referência a Plotino em Sérvio, em ad Aen. 9,182, liga essa passagem de Virgílio com a doutrina do daimon. Embora dois tratados consecutivos das Enéadas (3.2 e 3.3) possam ser considerados como a fonte primordial de Sérvio, o daimon que ele descreve está mais próximo das ideias prevalecentes na superstição popular do que do genuíno pensamento de Plotino.
