Main Article Content
Abstract
The Kantian reflection on the methodology of mathematics is clearly inserted in the Aristotelian methodological tradition according to which, in Modernity, one should proceed to expose more syllogistic the Elements of Euclid. The aim of this paper is to make an introductory exposition of some relevant aspects of the modern reception of Euclidean geometry for the understanding of Kant’s philosophy of mathematics.
