Camila Calado, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio)

Post-doctorate in Philosophy at PUC-Rio (2018-2019). PhD in Communication and Culture from the School of Communication at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (ECO-Pós/UFRJ), with a Faperj Aluno Nota 10 scholarship (2016-2018) and a CNPQ scholarship (2014-2016). Master's in Communication and Culture from the same institution (2013), with a Capes scholarship. She has a degree in Social Communication, with a major in Journalism, from the Federal University of Piauí (2010), and in Advertising from the Unified Education Center of Teresina (2008). Her research focuses on communication and health, media and the production of subjectivities, contemporary philosophy, cultural studies and contemporary ruralities. She has been researching communication and health since 2006, having worked on four ANVISA projects (Project for Monitoring Advertising of Products Subject to Sanitary Surveillance - Phase II (2006) and Phase III (2008), Situational diagnosis of the promotion of medicines in health units of the Unified Health System (2009) and Advertising Education and Information Project (2009), in the latter as coordinator), in projects of the Center for Studies in Health Services Management/COPPEAD/UFRJ (2015-2018) and having developed doctoral and post-doctoral research. She has been researching ruralities in Piauí since 2012, having carried out ethnographic research in the rural localities of Sebastião Leal with funding from CNPQ, and worked on the UFPI Agroecological-Cultural Fair extension project (2019-2022).
